12 oz fettuccine or pasta of choice
1 ½ cups fresh broccoli florets
1 package (5.2 oz) Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs cheese
¾ cup reserved pasta water (adjust to desired creaminess)
1 tablespoon olive oil or unsalted butter
¼ teaspoon salt (or to taste)
½ teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for garnish)
Zest of ½ lemon (optional, for brightness)
Instructions
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook until al dente. In the last 2–3 minutes, add broccoli to the pot. Reserve ¾ cup pasta water, then drain.
- In the same pot, add Boursin cheese and olive oil or butter over low heat. Stir until melted.
- Slowly pour in reserved pasta water, whisking to create a creamy sauce.
- Return drained pasta and broccoli to the pot. Toss to coat evenly in the sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper. Serve hot.
