Ingredients

250g penne pasta

400g sirloin steak tips

2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon butter

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 tablespoon chopped parsley

Salt, to taste

Pepper, to taste

Instructions

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook penne until al dente, about 9–11 minutes. Drain and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.

2. Pat steak tips dry and toss with Cajun seasoning. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear steak in batches, 2–3 minutes per side. Set aside.

3. In the same skillet, reduce heat and melt butter. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.

4. Stir in heavy cream and simmer gently. Add Parmesan and stir until melted into a creamy sauce.

5. Add cooked penne to the sauce. Stir well to coat. Add reserved pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce.

6. Plate the pasta and top with Cajun steak tips. Garnish with paprika and chopped parsley.

7. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Add a splash of reserved pasta water to adjust sauce consistency before serving.

Use freshly grated Parmesan for a smoother, creamier finish.
