Description
These Charcuterie Tree Skewers Party bites are the kind of festive appetizer that makes a holiday table feel instantly cheerful. They’re a quick party snack, easy appetizer, no-cook finger food, and holiday entertaining idea all in one, with layers of salami, cheese, and pickles stacked into adorable tree shapes. I love how simple they are to assemble, how pretty they look on a platter, and how they bring big charcuterie board flavor into a fun grab-and-go bite that works for Christmas parties, game day spreads, brunch tables, and all kinds of easy food ideas.
Ingredients
8 slices provolone cheese
16 slices salami
8 small whole dill pickles
1 teaspoon dried dill
8 appetizer skewers or lollipop sticks
Instructions
1. Use a star-shaped cutter to cut the provolone into star pieces, making 24 stars total in mixed sizes if possible.
2. Fold the salami slices into small stacked squares so they fit neatly between the cheese layers.
3. Thread one salami piece onto each skewer, followed by one cheese star and one small pickle.
4. Repeat the layering with more salami, cheese stars, and pickles until each skewer looks like a festive tree.
5. Finish each skewer with a cheese star on top.
6. Arrange on a serving platter and sprinkle with dried dill before serving.
7. Chill until ready to serve if making them ahead.
Notes
Do not overfill the skewers or use oversized pickles, or the layers can slide and the tree shape will not hold as neatly.
