8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together melted butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla, mix well.
- Stir in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Mix until just combined.
- In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar, egg, and vanilla; mix until creamy.
- Spread 2/3 of the brownie batter into the pan.
