4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup cream cheese
3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
12 ounces rotini pasta
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
1. Rub steaks with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
2. Heat olive oil in skillet and sear steaks 3–4 minutes per side. Remove and rest.
3. Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta water. Drain and set aside.
4. In the same skillet, melt butter and cook garlic until fragrant.
5. Add heavy cream and stir in cream cheese until melted.
6. Add parmesan and cheddar cheeses, stirring until smooth.
7. Pour in reserved pasta water if needed to thin the sauce.
8. Toss pasta in the sauce and simmer gently.
9. Slice rested steak against the grain.
10. Serve steak over pasta and garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
Swap steak for grilled chicken or shrimp to switch up the protein.
Add red pepper flakes for extra heat or smoked paprika for a deeper smoky flavor.
