1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 cup buttermilk (or 1 cup milk + 1 tsp vinegar/lemon juice)
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
Topping:
2 tbsp melted butter
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mix melted butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, then buttermilk and vanilla.
