1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust (store-bought or homemade)

3 large eggs

3/4 cup granulated sugar

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg (plus more for topping)

2 1/2 cups whole milk (scalded and slightly cooled)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Instructions
