Ingredients

1 lb beef strips (sirloin or ribeye, thinly sliced)

8 oz spaghetti

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and black pepper to taste

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley


Instructions

1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the beef strips for 2–3 minutes on each side until browned. Remove and set aside.

2. Cook spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water and drain.

3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds. Stir in Cajun seasoning and pepper.

4. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a low simmer. Mix in Parmesan until smooth and creamy.

5. Add cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat. Use reserved pasta water to adjust consistency.

6. Return beef to skillet and simmer for 2 minutes.

7. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

For extra spice, add a pinch of cayenne or red pepper flakes with the Cajun seasoning.

Don’t overcook the beef—keep it tender by cooking just until seared and reheating briefly at the end.
