Ingredients

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

½ teaspoon paprika

½ teaspoon onion powder

¼ teaspoon black pepper

8 oz fettuccine or linguine pasta

1 tablespoon butter

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Optional: red pepper flakes for extra heat


Instructions

  1. Toss shrimp with Cajun seasoning. Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook shrimp 2 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  2. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water.
  3. In the skillet, melt butter. Sauté garlic for 1 minute.
  4. Stir in cream, Parmesan, paprika, onion powder, and black pepper. Simmer 3-4 minutes.
  5. Add pasta to sauce, mix well. Add pasta water if needed.
  6. Return shrimp to skillet and toss gently.
  7. Garnish with parsley and red pepper flakes. Serve hot.
