Ingredients

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic minced

2 tablespoons lemon juice

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 cup heavy cream

Salt and black pepper to taste

2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped


Instructions

1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.

2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter and sear the chicken until golden and cooked through (5–7 minutes per side). Remove and set aside.

3. In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.

4. Stir in lemon juice, Dijon mustard, paprika, crushed red pepper, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.

5. Pour in the heavy cream and stir until the sauce is smooth and begins to thicken.

6. Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over each piece. Simmer 2 more minutes.

7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Don’t overcook the chicken—keep the heat medium and use a thermometer (165°F internal).

Add a splash of cream or chicken broth when reheating to keep the sauce smooth.
