Ingredients

2 large chicken breasts, sliced thin

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons butter

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

8 oz cremini mushrooms, sliced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 1/2 cups heavy cream

3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

12 oz fettuccine pasta

1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)


Instructions

1. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

2. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then sear until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.

3. In the same skillet, add more butter if needed and sauté mushrooms until browned.

4. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.

6. Stir in parmesan cheese, and adjust seasoning with more salt and pepper.

7. Return chicken to the skillet and toss in cooked fettuccine.

8. Mix until pasta is fully coated and heated through.

9. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
