Ingredients

1/4 cup soy sauce

2 tablespoons peanut butter

1 tablespoon molasses or honey

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon sesame oil

1 teaspoon sriracha or chili garlic sauce

1/4 teaspoon five-spice powder (optional)


Instructions

1. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce and peanut butter until smooth.

2. Add molasses or honey and rice vinegar; stir until fully combined.

3. Mix in garlic powder, sesame oil, sriracha or chili garlic sauce, and optional five-spice powder.

4. Taste and adjust sweetness or heat as desired.

5. Store in a sealed jar in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

Notes

Adjust sweetness by swapping molasses with honey if you prefer a lighter finish.

Stir in warm water to loosen the sauce if it thickens in the fridge.
