1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon dried thyme
2 bay leaves

4 medium carrots, sliced
1.5 pounds baby potatoes, halved

Instructions
1. Heat olive oil and butter in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.
2. Toss beef cubes with flour, shake off excess, and brown them in batches. Set aside.
