Ingredients

12 oz egg noodles

2 (5 oz) cans of tuna, drained

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup sour cream

1 cup milk

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 small onion, finely chopped

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 cup frozen peas (optional)

1 1/2 cups crushed buttery crackers or French fried onions

2 tbsp butter, melted

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook egg noodles 1 minute less than package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese, sour cream, and milk until smooth.
  4. Stir in cheddar, Parmesan, onion, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
  5. Fold in tuna and peas until well mixed.
  6. Add noodles to the mixture and toss to coat evenly.
  7. Transfer to prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  8. Mix crushed crackers or onions with melted butter; sprinkle over the top.
  9. Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  10. Let cool for 5 minutes, garnish with parsley, and serve warm.
