Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

3 cups cooked white rice

1 can (10.5 oz) condensed French onion soup

1 cup sour cream

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

2 tbsp butter

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

1. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.

2. Stir in onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

3. In a bowl, mix cooked beef, cooked rice, condensed soup, and sour cream until well combined.

4. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

5. Spread the mixture evenly in the dish and top with shredded mozzarella cheese.

6. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.

7. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Use day-old rice for better texture and flavor absorption.

For a flavor twist, swap mozzarella with Gruyère or provolone.
