Ingredients
1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
2 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tsp Cajun seasoning
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
8 oz rotini pasta
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
1. Pat steak cubes dry and season with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak bites in batches until browned (1-2 min per side). Remove and set aside.
3. Reduce heat to medium. In the same skillet, add butter and garlic. Sauté until fragrant (about 1 min).
4. Pour in heavy cream. Let simmer for 2-3 minutes. Add Parmesan and stir until melted and sauce thickens.
5. Add more Cajun seasoning to taste. Adjust salt and pepper.
6. Cook pasta until al dente. Drain and reserve some pasta water.
7. Toss pasta in Alfredo sauce. Loosen with reserved water if needed.
8. Fold in steak bites. Garnish with parsley and extra Parmesan. Serve hot.
Notes
Let steak come to room temperature before searing for even cooking.
Use freshly grated Parmesan for best melting and flavor.
