Ingredients

1 lb steak (ribeye, sirloin, or NY strip)

9 oz cheese tortellini

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

3 cloves garlic, minced

3 tbsp butter

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

1. Season both sides of the steak with salt and pepper.

2. Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.

3. Sear steak for 3–4 minutes per side until browned and crusty. Add garlic and remaining butter.

4. Spoon garlic butter over steak while finishing. Remove and let rest.

5. Cook tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

6. In the same skillet, melt more butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.

7. Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer.

8. Stir in Parmesan cheese until sauce is creamy.

9. Season with salt and pepper.

10. Toss tortellini in sauce until well-coated.

11. Slice steak and serve on top of pasta.

12. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Resting the steak ensures juices stay locked in for maximum flavor.

Add a splash of pasta water if your Alfredo sauce becomes too thick when reheating.
