These Halloween Brownies are rich, ultra-fudgy, and topped with festive orange, purple, and green candy for the perfect spooky-season dessert.
Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter (melted)
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup light brown sugar (optional, for extra chew)
3 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup chocolate chips or chocolate chunks
1/2 cup Halloween candy-coated chocolates (orange/purple/green)
2 tablespoons Halloween sprinkles
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.
2. Whisk melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
3. Add eggs one at a time, whisking well after each. Stir in vanilla.
4. Mix in cocoa powder, flour, and salt until just combined (do not overmix).
5. Fold in chocolate chips/chunks.
6. Pour batter into the pan and smooth the top.
7. Bake 22–28 minutes until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
8. Top with Halloween candy and sprinkles while warm.
9. Cool completely before slicing.
Notes
For clean slices, chill brownies for 30 minutes before cutting. Store airtight 3–4 days at room temp or freeze up to 2 months.
