Ingredients

1 lb ground chicken

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

1 large egg

1/4 cup finely chopped onion

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill

1 teaspoon ground cumin

1/2 teaspoon ground coriander

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/2 cup Greek yogurt

1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill

1 teaspoon lemon juice

Pinch of salt

1 teaspoon olive oil

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a lined or greased baking sheet.

2. In a bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, garlic, parsley, dill, cumin, coriander, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.

3. Shape into golf ball-sized meatballs and place on baking sheet.

4. Drizzle with olive oil and bake for 18–20 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and cooked through (165°F internal temperature).

5. Meanwhile, whisk together yogurt, dill, lemon juice, salt, and olive oil. Chill until serving.

Notes

Don’t overmix the chicken mixture—gentle hands make juicier meatballs.

For a spicier twist, add a pinch of cayenne or smoked paprika to the mix.
