Ingredients

2 pounds chuck roast

8 ounces cream cheese

1 cup sour cream

1 cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese

1 packet ranch seasoning mix

1 packet au jus mix

1/4 cup sliced pepperoncini peppers

1/4 cup butter

chips or toasted bread, for serving


Instructions

1. Place the chuck roast in a slow cooker with pepperoncini, butter, ranch mix, and au jus mix.

2. Cook on low for 8 hours or until fork-tender.

3. Shred the roast and discard excess fat.

4. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, and half the shredded cheese until smooth.

5. Add shredded roast and chopped pepperoncini to the cheese mixture. Mix well.

6. Transfer to an oven-safe skillet or dish.

7. Top with remaining cheese and broil until bubbly and golden.

8. Serve warm with chips or crusty bread.
