Ingredients

1 lb fresh green beans

1.5 tbsp olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese

0.5 tsp salt

0.25 tsp black pepper


Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Rinse the green beans and trim off the ends. Pat them dry completely.

3. In a large bowl, toss the green beans with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.

4. Sprinkle in the grated Parmesan and toss again until all beans are coated.

5. Spread the green beans in a single layer on the baking sheet.

6. Roast for 18–22 minutes until tender and golden with crispy edges.

Notes

Be sure the green beans are dry before tossing—excess moisture leads to steaming, not roasting.
