Ingredients

12 Hawaiian rolls

1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

¾ cup pizza sauce

30 slices pepperoni

2 tablespoons melted butter

½ teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (optional)


Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

2. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping them attached.

3. Place the bottom half of the rolls in the baking dish.

4. Spread pizza sauce evenly over the bottom layer of rolls.

5. Sprinkle half of the shredded mozzarella over the sauce.

6. Add a layer of pepperoni slices across the cheese.

7. Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese.

8. Place the top halves of the rolls over the filling.

9. Mix melted butter with garlic powder and Italian seasoning.

10. Brush the seasoned butter generously over the tops of the rolls.

11. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if using.

12. Cover with foil and bake for 10 minutes.

13. Remove foil and bake for another 5-7 minutes, until golden and bubbly.

14. Let cool slightly, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

Use parchment paper under the sliders for easy cleanup.

Double the cheese layer if you want them extra gooey.
