1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 tablespoon red food coloring
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
2. In a large bowl, combine melted butter, 1 cup sugar, red food coloring, vanilla, eggs, and cocoa powder. Stir until smooth.
3. Add flour and salt. Mix until just combined. Set aside 1/4 cup of the batter.
4. Spread the remaining batter evenly in the prepared pan.
5. In another bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add 1/4 cup sugar, 1 egg, and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract. Beat until creamy.
6. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the brownie layer.
7. Drop spoonfuls of reserved red velvet batter over the cheesecake layer. Use a knife to swirl gently.
8. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until set. Let cool completely before slicing.
