Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 bulb roasted garlic, cloves squeezed out

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped

1 tablespoon chives, finely chopped

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon lemon zest

1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. Slice the top off a whole garlic bulb, drizzle with olive oil, wrap in foil, and roast at 400°F for 35–40 minutes until golden and soft. Let cool, then squeeze out the cloves.

2. Leave the butter at room temperature until fully softened.

3. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter with the roasted garlic cloves, parsley, chives, Dijon mustard, lemon juice and zest, red pepper flakes, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.

4. Stir well until fully combined and smooth.

5. Transfer to a small serving bowl or ramekin. Serve immediately or refrigerate until firm, about 20–30 minutes.

Notes

Let the butter sit out for 5–10 minutes before serving if chilled to bring back a spreadable texture.

You can freeze it in ice cube trays and thaw portions as needed for quick flavor boosts.
