Ingredients
1 bag frozen ravioli (25 oz)
1 pound ground beef or Italian sausage
24 oz marinara or pasta sauce
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
1. In a skillet, brown the ground beef or sausage with diced onion and garlic until fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
2. Stir in marinara sauce and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 3–5 minutes.
3. Spray the inside of a slow cooker with non-stick spray. Spread a layer of meat sauce at the bottom.
4. Add a layer of frozen ravioli, followed by a sprinkle of mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
5. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, ending with cheese on top.
6. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2 to 2.5 hours.
7. Let sit for 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
You can mix ground beef and sausage for a richer flavor.
