Ingredients

2 cups cooked rotini or penne pasta

1 ½ cups cooked chicken breast, cubed or shredded

1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

½ cup BBQ sauce (smoky-style)

¼ cup milk or heavy cream

1 tablespoon olive oil or butter

¼ teaspoon garlic powder

¼ teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley or green onions (optional for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add chicken, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Sauté for 2–3 minutes.
  4. Stir in BBQ sauce and milk/heavy cream. Let simmer for 3 minutes.
  5. Add cooked pasta and stir until fully coated in sauce.
  6. Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the top.
  7. Cover skillet and let sit on low heat until cheese melts (about 3–4 minutes).
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley or green onions and serve hot.
