Ingredients

1 cup frozen strawberries

1 frozen banana sliced

1/2 cup Greek yogurt plain or vanilla

1/2 cup milk or dairy free milk

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 pinch salt

1 small banana sliced for topping

1/2 cup fresh strawberries sliced for topping

1/4 cup granola for topping

Instructions

1. Add the frozen strawberries, frozen banana slices, Greek yogurt, milk, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt to a high speed blender.

2. Blend on low speed at first, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed so all the fruit breaks down evenly.

3. Gradually increase the speed, adding a splash more milk only if necessary, until the mixture is thick, smooth, and spoonable like soft serve.

4. Taste the smoothie base and add a little extra honey or maple syrup if you prefer it sweeter, then blend again briefly.

5. Divide the thick strawberry banana mixture between two bowls, smoothing the tops with the back of a spoon.

6. Arrange the sliced fresh banana and sliced strawberries over each bowl in rows or small piles.

7. Sprinkle granola generously over the top for crunch, then serve the smoothie bowls immediately while they are cold and thick.

Notes

For the thickest, creamiest smoothie bowl, avoid adding too much milk at once—start with the minimum amount and only add more a tablespoon at a time so the base stays spoonable, not runny.
