Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

10 corn tortillas

1 cup shredded cheese (optional)

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp ground cumin

1/2 tsp chili powder

1/2 tsp garlic powder

2 cups oil for frying

Optional: shredded lettuce, sour cream, salsa, avocado for garnish


Instructions

1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess grease.

2. Add seasonings: cumin, garlic powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Stir and simmer for 2–3 minutes.

3. Warm tortillas in the microwave with a damp paper towel for 30 seconds to soften.

4. Add a spoonful of meat to each tortilla and sprinkle with cheese if using. Fold in half.

5. Heat oil in a pan. Fry tacos in batches until golden and crispy on both sides.

6. Drain on paper towels and serve hot with your favorite toppings.

Notes

Use freshly warmed tortillas to prevent cracking when folding.

Reheat leftovers in an air fryer to keep that signature crispiness.
