Description

Add a burst of freshness to your holiday spread with this Thanksgiving Fruit Salad—a colorful, juicy, and crunchy blend of apples, oranges, cranberries, and pecans. It’s a refreshing side dish that balances the richness of classic Thanksgiving meals. Lightly dressed with honey and lemon, this salad is a naturally sweet, gluten-free option that works beautifully as a side, starter, or dessert. Great for anyone looking for easy recipes, healthy snacks, or light Thanksgiving food ideas.

Ingredients

1 cup green apples, diced

1 cup red apples, diced

1 cup orange segments

1/2 cup fresh cranberries

1/4 cup dried cranberries

1/2 cup pecans

1/2 cup red grapes or pomegranate seeds (optional)

2 tablespoons honey

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

1. Peel and segment the oranges. Dice the apples into bite-sized cubes. Slice grapes or prep pomegranate seeds if using.

2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey and lemon juice to make the citrus dressing.

3. In a large bowl, combine all fresh fruits. Pour the dressing over and toss gently.

4. Just before serving, mix in the pecans and dried cranberries for crunch.

5. Chill until ready to serve, and gently toss again before plating.

Notes

Add the nuts and dried cranberries right before serving to keep their texture perfect.

Chill all fruits before assembling for the crispest, freshest results.
