Ingredients
2 cups cranberries
2 cups strawberries (hulled and chopped)
4 cups granulated sugar
½ cup orange juice
1 tablespoon orange zest
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 pouch liquid pectin (3 oz)
Instructions
1. Rinse cranberries and prepare strawberries (thaw if frozen, chop if large).
2. In a large pot, combine cranberries, strawberries, sugar, orange juice, and zest. Bring to a boil.
3. Simmer until cranberries pop and strawberries soften.
4. Optional: Blend mixture with an immersion blender for a smoother texture.
5. Stir in cinnamon and liquid pectin. Boil hard for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
6. Remove from heat and ladle hot jam into sterilized jars, leaving ¼ inch headspace.
7. Wipe rims, seal jars with lids, and process in boiling water bath for 10 minutes.
8. Let cool completely before storing or gifting.
Notes
For extra depth, try adding a pinch of clove or nutmeg with the cinnamon.
Use frozen fruit if needed—just thaw and drain well before cooking.
