Ingredients

1 lb sirloin steak tips

2 tbsp Cajun seasoning

2 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

8 oz penne pasta

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup Parmesan cheese grated

2 tbsp butter

1 tbsp chopped parsley

1/4 tsp crushed red pepper (optional)

Salt to taste

Pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Season the steak tips with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder. Let rest for 20 minutes.

2. Boil the penne pasta in salted water until al dente, drain, and reserve 1/4 cup of pasta water.

3. In a hot skillet, melt butter and sear the steak tips for 2–3 minutes per side until crusted. Remove and set aside.

4. In the same skillet, lower heat and pour in the heavy cream. Stir in Parmesan cheese, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder.

5. Stir the sauce until smooth and creamy, adding reserved pasta water if needed.

6. Toss in cooked penne pasta and mix to coat with the sauce.

7. Fold steak tips back into the skillet and heat for 2–3 minutes until warmed.

8. Garnish with parsley and crushed red pepper. Serve hot.

Notes

For extra heat, double the Cajun seasoning or add cayenne.

Freshly grated Parmesan melts smoother and adds better flavor.
