Ingredients

1 lb steak (ribeye or sirloin, cut into strips)

2 tbsp olive oil

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1 tbsp butter

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 tbsp honey

2 cups heavy cream

1 cup beef broth

8 oz pasta (penne or rigatoni recommended)

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Optional: red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Season steak strips with salt and pepper, and sear until browned. Remove from pan.
  2. Lower heat to medium and add butter. Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Add honey and mix well.
  3. Pour in beef broth and heavy cream, scraping the pan bottom. Stir in Italian seasoning and bring to a simmer.
  4. Add uncooked pasta. Cook for 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is al dente and sauce thickens.
  5. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted. Return steak to the pan and mix gently to coat.
  6. Garnish with parsley and red pepper flakes if desired. Serve immediately.
