1 can (29 oz) kidney beans (with liquid)
1 can (29 oz) pinto beans (with liquid)
1 cup diced onion
1/2 cup diced green bell pepper
1/2 cup diced celery
3 medium tomatoes, chopped
1 packet chili seasoning mix (or homemade mix)
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp white vinegar
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
1 cup water
Instructions
- In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain the excess fat.
