Ingredients

12 oz fettuccine pasta

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, sliced into strips

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 packet ranch seasoning mix

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

1/4 cup chopped parsley (for garnish)

Optional: red pepper flakes or diced tomatoes for added flavor

Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook fettuccine until al dente. Drain and reserve 1/2 cup pasta water.
  2. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and half of the ranch seasoning. Sauté in olive oil over medium-high heat until golden and cooked through. Set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add heavy cream and remaining ranch seasoning. Simmer gently for 2–3 minutes.
  5. Stir in cheddar and parmesan cheeses until melted and smooth.
  6. Add cooked pasta and chicken to the sauce. Toss to coat. Use reserved pasta water to adjust thickness if needed.
  7. Garnish with parsley and optional red pepper flakes or diced tomatoes.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
