Ingredients
1 pre-baked pizza crust (12-inch) or 1 homemade pizza dough
1/2 lb ground beef
1/2 packet taco seasoning mix
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup taco sauce or enchilada sauce
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup diced tomatoes
1/4 cup chopped red onion
1/4 cup sliced jalapeños (fresh or pickled)
2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
Optional toppings: sour cream, sliced olives, green onions, avocado chunks
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain grease.
- Stir in taco seasoning and water. Simmer 2–3 minutes, then remove from heat.
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Place pizza crust on a pan and spread taco sauce evenly.
- Add seasoned beef on top of the sauce.
- Sprinkle cheddar and mozzarella cheese evenly over the beef.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes until cheese is bubbly and crust is golden.
- Remove from oven. Top with tomatoes, onions, jalapeños, and cilantro.
- Add optional toppings if desired. Slice and serve hot.
