  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
  • 12 ounces cheese tortellini
  • 8 ounces Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped

Instructions
 

  • Pat chicken dry, season with Cajun seasoning, and sear in a skillet over medium-high heat for 4–5 minutes per side. Remove and slice.
  • Cook tortellini in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and reserve 1 cup pasta water.
  • Melt butter in the skillet, sauté garlic for 30 seconds, add heavy cream, and bring to a simmer.
  • Stir in Velveeta until melted and smooth.
  • Add tortellini to the sauce, toss gently, and add pasta water if needed.
  • Return chicken to skillet, heat through, and garnish with parsley.

Notes

Use freshly grated garlic for the most robust flavor. Adjust Cajun seasoning to your spice preference.
